Ms. Verlier Quan‑Vie is a Trinidad and Tobago national and a seasoned Commercial and Business Development leader with more than 30 years of experience spanning risk management, commercial operations, and business development across local and international sustainable energy value chains. Her expertise has been shaped through senior roles within leading global and national energy organizations, where she has consistently advanced value creation, commercial resilience, and strategic alignment across diverse stakeholder groups. She is widely recognized for her transparent, ethical engagement style, strong relationship‑building capabilities, and her ability to harmonize complex interests to deliver durable, mutually beneficial outcomes.

Ms. Quan‑Vie holds an MBA in Sustainability and Energy Transitions from Robert Gordon University (2024), supported by advanced technical, commercial, and legal training in energy, dispute resolution, risk management, and industrial engineering.

Her career includes impactful tenures at major multinational organizations such as The National Gas Company of Trinidad & Tobago (NGC) and BG Group (now Shell). She is the Founder and Principal Consultant of VQV Management Consultancy Services, a boutique strategic advisory firm dedicated to value creation across the energy value chain and the evolving demands of the global energy transition. The firm’s portfolio includes energy‑value‑chain business development, commercial contract negotiation and risk evaluation, integrated energy management and commercial strategy, sustainable energy and decarbonization advisory, stakeholder engagement, and board governance support.

At CEW 2026, Ms. Quan‑Vie will represent one of her major clients, New JCM—a high‑tech Chinese equipment manufacturer specializing in advanced energy‑sector machinery and integrated oil, gas, and new‑energy services, with global operations spanning more than 60 countries.
