Her responsibilities include ensuring a thorough technical understanding of the offshore through the execution of technical studies and data acquisition initiatives, to support/advise the regulator in Basin Opportunity Management and influencing and/or supporting IOCs effectively to accelerate the pace of maturation to development. Prior to this she held various technical roles within Staatsolie, including Offshore Appraisal Team Lead, Offshore Exploration Team Lead, Sr. Production Geologist Onshore, Exploration Geologist POC. Sharista holds a MSc Degree in Geology from Utrecht University, Netherlands, and an MBA Degree in Management & Leadership from Maastricht School of Management and FHR Institute for Higher Education, Suriname.
