Philip is a prominent green energy entrepreneur and Kenesjay Green Limited (KGL) founder, where he has pioneered clean hydrogen project developments in the Caribbean. KGL’s flagship initiative, NewGen Energy, involves a $250M project for low-carbon hydrogen production in Trinidad and Tobago, developed in partnership with HDF Energy. Additionally, he is working with the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica in developing their geothermal energy opportunities in Dominica, while also advocating for public-private partnerships to enhance the region's energy sustainability. With a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and a Minor in Environmental Engineering from McGill University, Philip has held senior roles in environmental and process engineering, including leadership at WorleyParsons. He passionately advocates for regional green energy integration, having spoken at
key events such as COP Conferences and Private Sector Roundtable Meetings with the EU and IDB. He is also working with the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) as the Hydrogen Specialist for Trinidad and Tobago. His remit includes the advancement of a regional approach to the Green Hydrogen Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Beyond his business endeavours, Philip founded the Heroes Foundation in 2002, focusing on youth development in Trinidad and Tobago. His combined efforts in entrepreneurship, advocacy, and community engagement make him a significant influencer in the Caribbean's transition to sustainable energy.
