Marcus Cyrus has over 22 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He began his career at Weatherford in 2010 within the Business Development function and has since progressed into senior leadership roles. Today, he serves as the organization’s Regional Director for the Caribbean, where he leads corporate strategy and growth initiatives across the region. In this role, he is accountable for commercial performance and strategic alignment while advancing the oil, gas, and emerging energy
segments. Marcus has successfully led the optimization of the company’s operating capabilities, overseeing strategy and growth initiatives and driving operational excellence. His leadership in developing performance metrics, strengthening commercial and financial management, and defining E& P solutions has fostered innovation and contributed significantly to the evolution of the Caribbean Energy Landscape. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from the
