Joël Lutchman is a Surinamese-Dutch Certified Public Accountant with over a decade of experience in audit, financial reporting, and business advisory across some of the world's most prestigious professional services firms. He currently serves as Auditor at Lutchman & Co / Moore Suriname, a member firm of Moore Global. Joël combines deep international expertise with a commitment to strengthening financial governance in his home country of Suriname.

Previously, Joël spent nearly a decade at Deloitte, where he rose through the ranks across its Amsterdam and New York offices. At Deloitte Amsterdam, he served as Audit Manager, and prior to that, he spent two years in New York as Lead Audit Senior-in-Charge (Acting Manager), where he led audit engagements for NYSE and NASDAQ-listed clients. Throughout his tenure at Deloitte, Joël played an integral role beyond client service, contributing to the redevelopment of the firm's Audit Learning Strategy, coordinating recruitment efforts, and facilitating technical training programmes. He received the firm's Excellence Bonus for three consecutive years (2020–2022), recognising both his exceptional core audit performance and his broader contributions to the organisation.
