Gilbert Y Yevi
Dr Yevi is a Petroleum Engineer with over 30 years’ of global experience in the oil and gas sectors in several hydrocarbon provinces (US Golf of Mexico, Asia, West and Southern Africa).
He is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of G2Y Energy Services Ltd, a UK-based technical consultancy and advisory firm. Before taking up this role in G2Y in 2021, Dr Yevi was the Senior Vice President for Exploration and Production for Sasol, an international petro-chemical conglomerate. Prior to Sasol, Dr Yevi has worked in various technical, managerial and executive capacities for the UK based Tullow Oil, Swiss based Addax Petroleum and Shell.
Dr Yevi holds an Engineering degree in Oil and Gas Drilling and Production from the University of Mining and Geology in Sofia, Bulgaria. He has a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Mississippi State University in the US, a PhD in Computational Engineering from the same university, and an MBA in Finance and Management from Tulane University in New Orleans (Louisiana, USA).
Dr Yevi is an inventor and an author with several publications in peer reviewed journals in the field of Petroleum and Mechanical Engineering. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the National Black MBA Association in the US.
